Dr. Rhiannon Burkitt, BSc. (Hons), ND
Dr. Burkitt completed a four-year Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology from McMaster University.
Her passion for health, natural remedies, education and a holistic approach to the human body led her to naturopathic medicine. She went on to complete an additional four-year post-graduate education at the accredited Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. The four-year program incorporates over 4,500 hours of classroom training in basic medical science courses, clinical sciences and naturopathic therapies, as well as 1500 hours of supervised clinical experience. Dr. Burkitt is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and is registered with The College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She treats general health concerns and also has a special interest in sports injuries, autoimmune disorders, digestive issues, fertility, pre and postnatal care, women's health issues and pediatrics. |
